Founder & Creative Director
Andrew Kennedy, founder of Motorpilot Ltd, manages all aspects of the creative design and Rich Internet Application development.
Formerly working for an automotive consultancy specialising in the development of CFD thermal analysis techniques, Andrew’s creative passion led him to join the Marketing department.
It was here that he got involved with and pioneered the development of web based marketing materials for both internal and external clients. Rather than returning to engineering he continued as Marketing Officer before gaining promotion to European Marketing Manager.
At this point, with his main focus being web based marketing and Rich Internet Applications, Andrew decided to found Motorpilot Ltd. This allowed him to provide professional, innovative solutions to a wide range of clients, delivering results in a timely manner.
Continuous development has always been a key part of Andrew's career and as Creative Director of Motorpilot Ltd this has not changed. He keeps himself at the forefront of current web technologies and best practices in this ever evolving environment.
Away from the office, Andrew is a keen triathlete, currently training for an Ironman event. Music, film and literature provide escapism and inspiration.
Simon Lewis
Technical Director
Simon is responsible for the development and implementation of complex technical applications and deployment of all internet based materials.
Prior to joining Motorpilot Ltd, Simon met Andrew whilst working on a placement at an automotive consultancy. Here they worked together on multiple web based materials and content delivery systems for the Marketing and Information department.
Simon returned to his studies to complete his PhD in the field of multiphase fluid dynamics. Simon utilised the skills gained from writing complex CFD code to further his web based programming skills. He was accepted as a Sessional Lecturer teaching Open Source Web Technologies at Birkbeck College, University of London.
Simon remained in contact with Andrew and worked on a number of projects with him before joining Motorpilot Ltd as Technical Director in the autumn of 2007.
Simon looks to continously develop his skills and stay at the cutting edge of web programming technologies, utilising the necessary tools to provide a rich internet experience to clients.
Beyond the demands of the company, Simon is an accomplished athlete, regulary competing for his club. Music, film and travelling provide a creative outlet.
